I don’t know about you but I’ve been feeling a bit banged up, worn out and frazzled lately. Let’s face it, we’ve all been through a lot this year. Mamma mia!
Feeling the need for some rejuvenation, I recently decided to take my butt up to Central Park for a twirl, and a fall foliage feast for the eyes. I wasn’t disappointed.
Truth be told, I have a thing for trees. They represent strength, wisdom, beauty and are truly majestic. Not to mention they provide a multitude of benefits - hello oxygen!
I invite you to take a moment and breathe in the beauty of the trees that I was blessed to have cross my path:
My visit was quite lovely. The way the leaves floated in the chilly breeze, and glistened in the sunlight, really made my heart smile. At one point I ventured over to that very old tree that you see in the photos and I let my hand rest on it. I thought, this tree has no idea or worries about elections, or Covid, or personal struggles. It just exists. I tried to absorb some of its majesty and strength, breathing in deeply and slowly, and I exhaled in gratitude.
If you have the chance, take a moment to explore the trees near you. And it’s not mandatory, but if you feel so inclined, go ahead and give one a hug! Wishing you peace, good health, safety, and a feast for the eyes and soul. Big Love, PatriciaG
If you’d like to share your tree experience, I’d love to hear about it!
Would also love it if you head on over to my Shop to check out my Prints & Photo Note Cards for sale. I’ve added some great things to the collection.
