In New York City there is pretty much a parade every other weekend. One of my favorites is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Although it’s a day to celebrate Irish heritage, people from all walks of life join in on the fun; adorning their green and doing an impromptu jig here and there.

I love how it brings people together. It’s a reminder that when all is said and done we are all the same. We may have different different ways of celebrating the special moments in our lives, but in the end we are all connected by a common thread - love for our families & friends with the desire for all to be happy, live in a safe place, bellies filled with great food, healthy bodies and enriching life experiences.
